What is Somejam?
The aim of Somejam is to use the means of digital technology to build up concrete ways to enhance the well-being of youth. It brings together the know-how, creativity and collaboration from various disciplines i.e. youngsters, youth workers, graphic designers, coders, software developers, social media students and experts etc.
How does it work?
Somejam kicks off on Friday and the multi-talent teams have 48 hours to create new concepts in the form of apps, games or web services for youths with the help of team mentors who are top specialists in new technology. On Saturday the jury of technology specialists will announce the winner. The winning team will have the opportunity to meet with New Factory startup coaches to evaluate and improve the business potential of the idea.
